Hello!! Every time I get a new interesting Mike Oldfield item, I will put it first in this page. I hope they will be vinyl becuase it's the material I prefer.

So if you have seen my entire collection, you don't have to go to the main index to see my new arrivals.

This year 2002 was really incredible. I bought a lot of ultra rare Oldfield vinyl items as Guilty 10'' promo USA, Don Alfonso 7'' Italy, 13 LP box 1974-1983 Sweden, Guilty 7'' Hong Kong, LP Platinum with Sally, etc, etc:

1 December 2002: Very interesting Five Miles Out vinyl LP from Poland. It is NOT foldcover and different backsleeve. Thanks Francesc !!

11 November 2002: My friend Jens sent to me this single. The vinyl is the VS101 english edition and the sleeve is a folded paper (opened by 3 sides) with the same cover and the same backcover. Some options are possible: 1) an England reedition, 2) a fake England edition or 3) the real first Mike Oldfield single from Sweden. Reasons to think that maybe this single is really a swedish pressing are: 3.1) this single is quite possible to find it in scandinavian record fairs and 3.2) a lot of swedish singles in the 60's and until 1975 were the England vinyl with this folded paper with the same cover and backcover than the England edition cover.  So I think this single maybe is the real first swedish single. Can anyone help me to find the real answer ?

8 November 2002: Barcelona record fair. A really good place to find any rare item. I bought 11 vinyl items for my own collection: 5 singles (the rarest: Tema del Exorcista / Campanas Tubulares from Chile), 4 maxis (the rarest: Pictures in the Dark from Canada) and 2 lps (the rarest: The Orchestral Tubular Bells promotional from USA) !!

29 October 2002: Very beautiful Ommadawn japanese vinyl LP with OBI and INSERT !!

24 October 2002: Very rare promotional mexican single with spanish translated titles: A Francia (To France) / En la Alberca (In the Pool) !!

23 October 2002: Finally I received the rare Platinum first edition with Sally deleted song !!

22 October 2002: Four very beautiful korean vinyl lps with interesting inserts: Hergest Ridge, QE2, Five Miles Out and Crises. Here you can see the images of a couple of them !!

11 October 2002: A couple of very interesting new 7'' vinyl singles for my own collection: Innocent german promo single and In Dulci Jubilo italian, the last italian single that I needed !!

8 October 2002: Today I received my different Oldfield vinyl single number 300. I'm very happy to present one of the rarest Oldfield vinyl singles: Toque Mágico (Magic Touch) / Toque Mágico (Magic Touch). This rare promotional single unique cover was released in Mexico year 1987 !!

3 October 2002: Four very beautiful korean vinyl lps with interesting inserts: Incantations, Discovery, The Killing Fields and Earth Moving. Here you can see the images of a couple of them !!

26 September 2002: The Complete double vinyl LP. Rare LP pressed on Taiwan !!

5 September 2002: Very rare item: Islands UK vinyl maxi 12'' TESTPRESSING. No cover and white label only written "Mike Oldfield, VS9912" !!

26 August 2002: Some very interesting russian flexi discs: Celt, Sheba, Conflict. Arrival and To France. Here you can see a couple of them: Celt & Arrival !!

25 August 2002: One new canadian single: Tricks of the Light / Afghan VS1240 !!

22 August 2002: Very interesting Ommadawn from Holland. It plays Ommadawn, On Horseback and one extra song: In Dulci Jubilo !!

25 July 2002: Two very interesting promotional items from USA: Ommadawn and Airborn !!

11 June 2002: Very common single: Moonlight Shadow. But now I have this single from a new country: Finland !!

22 May 2002: I received today my different Mike Oldfield 7'' vinyl single number 275 and it's very rare: promotional pressing from Argentina with the following songs: En Lugares Altos (In High Places) / Sombra sobre la Pared (Shadow on the Wall) !!

15 May 2002: Mike Oldfield's birthday !! He is today 49 years old !! And today I received one of the rarest 7'' vinyl singles: guilty from Hong Kong !!

14 May 2002: This is a magic item. I never thought one day I would receive this mega rare item. It's the ultra rare Mike Oldfield 13-LP box limited edition swedish pressing. It includes the following lps: Tubular Bells, Hergest Ridge, The Orchestral Tubular Bells, Ommadawn, Incantations, Exposed, Platinum, QE2, Five Miles Out, Crises and Discovery. Ultra rare. In my oppinion, one of the top ten rarest Oldfield items. I'm very happy, a dream come true. And Mike Oldfield handsigned it to me in Valencia, 30/May/2002. Thanks Jens for your incredible help !! 

29 April 2002: Today I received the item number 500 in my full collection (and 273 are 7'' vinyl singles). This beautiful number needs a mega rare item to celebrate it: Don Alfonso italian vinyl single !!

24 April 2002: Ultra mega rare promotional maxi from USA. Year 1987 The Wind Chimes PR2181. This is the last maxi 12'' I need in my collection. Ultra rare !!

22 April 2002: Very rare items: my first single from Brazil, Willian Tell Overture / Portsmouth and very rare MISPRESSING Heaven's Open from Korea (it doesn't play Oldfield music, it plays OMD music) !!

18 April 2002: Two new very interesting promotional singles: Pictures in the Dark from Australia and Etude from Japan !!

16 April 2002: One more australian single: Mistake promotional !!

15 March 2002: Today I have my different single number 265. An old single, year 1976, from UK and promotional: Portsmouth / Speak !!

11 March 2002: A new jewel very hard to find: canadian promotional single Five Miles Out. Nothing on B-side. Very rare !!

28 February 2002: My first TESTPRESSING, from LP The Orchestral Tubular Bells !!

26 February 2002: Today I received one of the rarest Mike Oldfield items: maxi 10'' guilty promotional from USA. Only 75 copies were made on 1980 and it's the only one Mike Oldfield 10'' vinyl. Thanks a lot to Masaharu, my japanese friend !!

25 February 2002: Very interesting australian single from 1977: Cuckoo Song / Pipe Tune !!

22 February 2002: My first Korean LP: Tubular Bells, with insert and sticker !!

5 February 2002: To France / In the Pool from New Zealand !!

28 January 2002: I received today an USA single from 1975: Theme from Ommadawn / On Horseback !!

23 January 2002: Three wonderful japanese LPs in new condition with obi and insert: Crises, Five Miles Out and the most interesting: promotional Children of the Sun. Thanks a lot to my japanese friend, Masaharu !!

14 January 2002: Some very interesting items from latinoamerica: Campanas Tubulares from Chile, Expuesto from Argentina, Crisis from Argentina, Os Gritos do Silêncio from Brazil, Completo from Argentina and Earth Moving from Venezuela. Very interesting: different covers, titles in spanish, promo items, etc !!

11 January 2002: Incredible items. Mike started playing music with his sister, Sally Oldfield. They made a folk LP: Children of the Sun. Two 7'' vinyl singles appeared to complete this LP with four new songs. I received today these four songs in vinyl near mint condition: two ships / colours of the world (year 1969) and sweet child of allah / lady go lightly (year 1972). Absolutely hard to find !!

8 January 2002: My single number 10 from Canada. No cover but the only one single with these two songs: Five Miles Out and Mount Teide !!
