Hello!! Every time I get a new interesting Mike Oldfield item, I will put it first in this page. I hope they will be vinyl becuase it's the material I prefer.

So if you have seen my entire collection, you don't have to go to the main index to see my new arrivals.

Year 2004 was again a very good year. I found some big rarities to include in my collection as uncut Shine, single In Dulci Jubilo from Greece, lp Discovery testpressing from France, lp promo Crises from DDR, single Tubular Bells from Philippines, etc:

21 December 2004: One of the most exciting moments for a collector is to find an item never seen before, an item that nobody knows, and to show it to other collectors. Today I received one item that a lot of Oldfield collectors will see in this website for the very first time. It is Tubular Bells vinyl single from Philippines !!

11 December 2004: I visit Barcelona vinyl shops once a month more or less. Usually I don't find anything interesting, but time to time I find a rare item to add to my collection. That happened today. I found a spanish Incantations double vinyl lp and inside there was a rare coloured Ariola folder with two rare spanish sheets about the album. First sheet is about Oldfield biography until Incantations period and the other sheet is about his first european tour. Always nice to find these extra things inside a normal item as this spanish lp !!

20 November 2004: Two beautiful posters, Tubular Bells 3 and very old concert show in Frankfurt, 18.April'79 !!

9 November 2004: Ultra rare and promotional Crises LP in blue AWA label from German Democratic Republic (GDR) !!

6 November 2004: Barcelona record fair. I bought some items, nothing incredible like years ago. Why ? Different reasons, but one of them is Internet era. In my oppinion, with Internet, record fairs are going to dissapear in a short period of time because they are loosing its reason to exist. I bought only 7 items for my own collection, here three photos of some of them (promotional japanese Discovery lp, spanish Pictures in the Dark maxi and promotional french cd-single FROLD1). Anyway, I spent a nice time with other Oldfield fans and collectors and also listening the main concert live of this year: Kevin Ayers, very Oldfield related as all of you know !!

29 October 2004: Two interesting Boxed cassettes boxes, England and Italy editions !!

25 October 2004: I saw Mike Oldfield live shows twice, both shows in Barcelona (1992 and 1999). This is official poster of the first time I saw Mike Oldfield live, 1992 !!

22 October 2004: Very interesting promotional 7'' vinyl single from Argentina. On A side Kool & The Gang with Joanna song and B side is Mike Oldfield Sombra de la Luz de la Luna (Moonlight Shadow) !!

15 October 2004: Interesting Tubular Bells from Yugoslavia in rare white label !!

13 October 2004: I received 3 more items for my Oldfield collection which has reached 800 items today. Very interesting two tourbooks long time missing in my collection until today: "Tubular Bells & Hergest Ridge, Royal Albert Hall 9th December 1974" and "Adventure Tour 1981". Also one rare french Episodes CD. Here the photos !!

29 September 2004: Very rare australian 7'' vinyl single Arrival / Celt stock copy in green/red label. It is the unique Mike Oldfield single that includes Celt song !!

26 September 2004: I spent one week holidays in New York City where I had a very nice time. Of course I had time to check some vinyl shops. I bought totally 6 vinyl items, nothing incredible, the most interesting: Five Miles Out promotional lp from USA and one David Bedford lp from England (Star Clusters, Nebulae & Places in Devon / The Song of the White Horse) where Mike was the producer. 30 July 2004: I'm back from one week holidays around Spain and I have 4 packets at home with some interesting Oldfield material for my own collection. This material is: one american promo Tubular Bells LP with free 7'' EP, two italian maxis (Shadow on the Wall and promotional Shine) and one poster from the World Premiere of Tubular Bells 3. 15 July 2004: Very interesting brazilian Tubular Bells with rare banner: 'Trilha sonora original do filme «O EXORCISTA» PREMIO "OSCAR" 1974 MELHOR SOM' !!

28 June 2004: I received today three interesting Mike Oldfield vinyl lps: one from Canada (Discovery with sticker) and two from USA (Earth Moving with sticker and promotional QE2) !!

14 June 2004: Interesting old italian jukebox single. One song is by The Rolling Stones (Doo Doo Doo Doo Doo (Hearthbreaker)) and the other song is by Mike Oldfield (Tubular Bells) !

31 May 2004: Interesting promotional brazilian vinyl EP with Mike in one song (Tubular Bells) and three songs by other artists !

19 May 2004: I received today one songbook called 'Hot Songs'. It includes 8 Oldfield hits: Crimen of Passion, Family Man, Hergest Ridge, In Dulci Jubilo, Moonlight Shadow, On Horseback, Portsmouth and Tubular Bells !!

13 May 2004: Two interesting items with rare stickers: Tubular Bells LP from USA and Five Miles Out single from New Zealand !!

26 April 2004: Ultra rare Discovery french TESTPRESSING. Unique sleeve for this testpressing: the usual cover and very rare backcover with NOTHING written on it. Also strange title on cover with "Discovery" written in BLUE and BIG letters (normal editions are SMALL and RED letters) !!

13 April 2004: Two interesting and old singles from New Zealand: In Dulci Jubilo and Portsmouth !!

2 April 2004: Barcelona record fair. I found some items for my collection. The rarest: this Human Rights Press Conference with Mike Oldfield playing guitar as a picture sleeve !!

12 February 2004: Very important day in my life as a Mike Oldfield vinyl collector. I received today one of the rarest and hard to find Oldfield items. It is the ultra mega rare vinyl single Shine shaped disc, but UNCUT !!

10 February 2004: A couple of very rare 7'' vinyl singles promo (advanced) copies: William Tell Overture and very rare Mike Oldfield's single !!

9 February 2004: Ultra rare 7'' vinyl single from Zimbabwe: Portsmouth / Argiers with PD1326 catalogue number and rare "GALLO" written on label !!

3 February 2004: Double CD japanese The SallyAngie: Children of the Sun in mini lp format !!

9 January 2004: To France vinyl single from Ireland. It is very similar to the UK pressing, but it has small differences in the label and this copy comes without picture sleeve !!
